Educational/Learning Objectives (verbatim from Activity Planning Form)
a. After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:
i. Define why advocacy is crucial for patient care and access.
ii. Identify what resources are available to radiologists when carrying out advocacy endeavors.
iii. Describe how radiologists of all career levels can get involved at the state and national level.
iv. Analyze the potential impact of current and proposed legislation on radiology and radiation oncology.
v. Identify key legislative issues affecting patient access to care and physician reimbursement.

Physician Accreditation Statement (must stand-alone) The American College of Radiology is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Physician Credit Designation (must stand-alone) The American College of Radiology designates this other activity (blend of live and enduring materials) for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
